A vegetable juicing and cancer prevention program should include juice from turnips and turnip greens. Although high in sodium and strongly flavored, turnip juice is high in calcium, magnesium and potassium.
When you send turnips through your vegetable juicer, add other vegetables to improve the taste. Juice from fresh spinach and carrot juice improve turnip juice's flavor. Collards and kale juice up nicely and taste pretty good, too.
