June 22, 2007, Newsletter Issue #100: Fruit Juicers & Ripe Fruit

Tip of the Week

Buy fruits at their height of ripeness and juice them immediately to gain the most benefits toward diet and nutrition. Fruits should be bought a few days from maximum ripeness if you plan to store them before juicing in your home fruit juicer.

Don't store fresh fruit juices in a glass container that is too large. Air trapped inside the jar will deteriorate the fruit juices.
