January 22, 2010, Newsletter Issue #136: Centrifugal Fruit Juicers

Tip of the Week

Centrifugal fruit and vegetable juicers have a high-speed continuous blade (or separator) at the top. Cut your fruit to size and press the fruit into the slot at the top.

The fruit hits the high-speed, stainless-steel grater edges inside the strainer basket and is separated into pulp and fruit juices. If the juicer has a pulp extractor, like the Green Star juicer, for example, the fruit juice goes into one container and the pulp into another.
